  • Theora Hamblett, born in Paris, Mississippi in 1893, She taught school from1915-1936, she followed her dream of becoming an artist in 1950,
    She developed her own style of pointillism,whereby she painted her cherished childhood memories and people close to her. Upon her death in 1977, she left all her artwork to Th University of MIssissippi.
    This Print "carring cotton to the gin", is limited edition print 100/1000,
    signed in pencil by the artist Theora Hamblett dated 1976.
