  • We need a SharePoint Solutions Developer

    The SharePoint Solutions Developer will create solutions to meet business requirements using out of the box functionality and tools as well as development of new functionality. Primary tools used will be SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, 3rd party tools and plugins. Maintain existing custom intranet and internet facing sites.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    • Managing 3rd party tools and add-ons
    • Create business process automation using InfoPath 2010, SharePoint Designer 2010, built in workflows and Nintex
    • Implementing best practices and communicating best use scenarios
    • Documenting SharePoint solution configuration and design
    • Modifications of SharePoint environments using SharePoint Designer for site branding and customizations
    • Master page customizations and page layout design
    • Enhance existing functionality with jQuery and CSS
    • Provide user issue resolution and production system support
    • General SharePoint administrative duties as required
    • Gather and understand business requirements
    • Work with a project timeline, meet deadlines, bring new ideas & solutions for business requirements
    • Build new SharePoint solutions based on business requirements

    Education:
    BS/BA in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience
    5+ years’ experience with SharePoint 2007/2010 and supporting/companion applications

    Requirements:
    • UI or web development background
    • Excellent understanding of SharePoint 2010 platform components including but not limited to SQL Server 2008, Windows Server 2008, SharePoint Designer, IIS,
    • Proven experience with SharePoint Server 2010 and service applications
    • Experience with SharePoint Designer, InfoPath, workflows and dashboard designer
    • Ability to read and modify CSS, HTML, XHTML, HTML 5, java script and jQuery
    • Detail oriented with significant emphasis on the quality of work
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to read and process complex technical information
    • Sensitive to confidential information
    • Must work independently and as a member of team
