  • Software Engineer Needed in the Fox Valley (Direct Hire)
    Our Fox Valley area client is looking for a highly motivated individual for the position of Software Engineer focused on developing new and innovative product solutions. This position will require an individual with the skills to understand leading technologies of today and effective translation of business requirements into innovative software solutions.

    The primary role of this key position will include the designing, programming and development of industrial graphical user interfaces and software driven products that interact with external hardware real-time.

    REQUIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Software Engineering/Programming or related field with a minimum of three years of industry experience is required.
    • At least 3 years experience in specifying, architecting, designing, programming and coding, testing and verifying software.
    • Strong knowledge and experience with C++, C#/.NET, Java and developing in Microsoft Visual Studio
    • Experience working with third-party technology and OEM partners.
    • The ability to support new hardware design and to provide continued debugging support and continuous improvement of hardware/software interactions is required.
    • Proficiency with software version control systems and source code documentation
    • This individual must be self-motivated and have strong analytical and problem solving skills
    • Strong program management and deadline driven experience

    IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Expression Blend, Silverlight, Adobe Illustrator and Flash preferred
    • Familiarity with MATLAB and LabVIEW a plus
    • Experience developing and programming control systems to interface with external hardware in real-time
    • Experience with App development and embedded software
    • Experience designing GUI for use with LCD and/or Touch screen displays
    • Experience communicating with domestic and international suppliers, end-users, distributors, and manufacturing personnel is a plus.
    • The ideal candidate will be exceptional at managing and balancing multiple projects.
